Innovative design shakes hands with past centuries in Old Porvoo

Thank you for stopping by at Design Deli, Finland. We retail and promote innovative design in Porvoo, one of the most appealing cities in Finland. If you visit Helsinki and prefer cultural sights and designer items, Old town of Porvoo and Design Deli are a must. To get here, you can rent a car, take a guided tour, or check out the frequent public transportation. Helsinki City Tourist Office will tell you all about it!

In May 2005 Design Deli retail store opened its doors to local design lovers and thousands of annual visitors. Prior to the concept was born we had our hands full of marketing, concept design, product development, and environmental studies. Today, with representation and collaboration of +30 designers, artists, artisans and brands we offer the most inviting selection of designer items - mainly of Finnish origin - in town. Since 2008 we also cooperate with foreign designers in distribution and get inspired of our own two collections: Hau Hau Wuf Wuf and Porvoon Pirkko. In 2009 we started to export Finnish design to Japan and in 2010...something new will be coming up!

In order to give you a delicious shopping experience for a souvenir our aim is to keep the shop and selection inspiring by displaying top quality, green thinking, indie designer labels and local creativity. While you visit us, we are also more than happy to recommend local sights we consider as goodies.
